Hello all! I'm Jennifer, but please, call me Jenn. Professionally, I carry with me over 28 years of graphic design, illustration, and art production coordination experience, and have degrees in both graphic design and visual arts with a minor in human development. I have been working part-time from home after my oldest daughter was born as an illustrator, colored pencil portrait artist, and graphic designer. Through the exploration of new markets, I have had the opportunity to illustrate three children's books. I love to do anything artistically related and always have to be creating something! A few other hobbies include reading, gardening, listening to music, cooking, and philosophizing with friends (or anyone who will participate). I'm quite gabby.
I started creating scrapbooks around 11 years ago. Photography has always been a hobby of mine and I was always organized and on top of getting my photos into albums. When I began scrapbooking using the traditional methods of cutting and pasting, and hand journaling, I started to accumulate boxes of photos! I enjoyed putting albums together and getting together with girl friends at crops, but goodness, the method is (was) slow. Also, if I didn't like the way a page looked, I had to re-do it and that is time consuming by hand. I kept thinking to myself ..."Why am I not using my design software and doing this on the computer". Okay, maybe I'm a slow learner. The rest is history! I have been putting pages together digitally for a couple of years now. I love using the computer to put scrapbooks together and then have pages or a whole book printed. I love everything about creating art digitally, the versatility it allows, the endless possibilities available, and using my drawing tablet is awesome. Not sure if I will ever do another page the old-fashioned way again! I'll have to get a laptop so I can still attend those crops because I have a lot of scrapbooking to catch up on.
Here is a FREEBIE quick page I created for DigiScrapQuickPages.com visitors! VIsit my site where you can also find an assortment of monthly freebies. A great way to try my products before purchasing!
